Q: What took you so long to update the site?

A: Well, short answer is, we wanted to create the best wallpaper site so we needed time to build it.
Long answer is, as you can see from the screenshots, we downloaded over 2 million wallpapers.
Yep you read it right. 2 million. Since it is that huge we want to write it again but this time in bold:)
2 million wallpapers
After all that downloading, we started to hand pick them one by one
Looking, inspecting, seperating, deleting and resizing 2 million wallpapers took about 4 months.
We think it is fair since that makes around 13.000 wallpapers per day. Most of our staff went blind but they said it is worth for it.
Funny thing is, okey not funny but sad, we came up around 12.000 wallpapers from 2 million wallpapers :)
more than 1,980,000 wallpapers didnt qualify for our site. So basically you are looking at web's best 1 of every 130 wallpapers.

Q: What the hell is that whale about?

You know there are lots of enviremantal issues so we did our part.
Okey!That's a lie. We indeed care about earth and doing our part for issues but the whale is totally beyond it.
After working around 30 hours or so without a sleep, it was time to decide for a logo.
Now we have no idea why we liked the whale, but at that time we did. (remember the blind guys :))
Anyway we slept, woke up and we were like "who put that damn whale there?". Interesting point is we still dont remember whose idea was it in the first place.
We showed it to some more friends and everybody said it is stupid. But later another friend said "Yeah it is stupid, but you will be the wallpaper site with the whale"
Maybe we didnt like the whale ,but we totally loved the idea.
We are the wallpaper site with the whale. So the whale will be staying here, get used to it :)

Q: Will there be an actual FAQ that can help us around the site?

Of course! The final question is about setting wallpapers for desktop. And believe or not, but we will answer it for all major browsers:)

Q: Any upcoming categories?

Yes! We love movies and we will add "movie wallpapers" category. But don't expect that category is going to be a box office movies. It will be more like "cult" movies, the movies we loved and gonna remember types.
Another one is "city wallpapers" or you can call it city views. We are aiming to add these categories before the end of October.

Q: How can i set wallpapers as for my desktop background?

Hah! !See. An actual FAQ here goes the answer
After selecting the thumbnail that you liked, click on the resolution that you are using.
The wallpaper that you have selected will be open in new browser. Move your cursor over the wallpaper and,
For Firefox right click and select "set as desktop background"
For Internet Explorer right click and select "set as background"
For Opera right click and select "use image on desktop
